We are all aware that an eye-catching signature (Sig for short) at the bottom of the forum posts you can generate targeted traffic to your home business website.

This is because the people on the forums are already targeted audience of people interested in the topic. Sig is all it takes to get them to your site, if your site is doing its job some of them will join your mailing list so you can then work with them over a period of time through a series of e-mail message phone.

It can all go wrong if you post the wrong sort of thing on the platform. So here are some guidelines to help get you thinking in the right direction.

1. Simple notes of thanks

Example :. “… Thank you for your post I had not thought about it before but I will use it on my site”

2. Questions.

This can either be where you are asking poster (or platform generally) for more information about something they wrote.

Or it might be a minor detail you are wondering about. Example: “I see people talking about FTP What thanks.?”

Or you can kick off a brand new thread by asking a question. If there is a topic of broad interest, the new thread can become quite active for a while.

3. Answers.

This is where you share your knowledge with people. The quality of your post will help people decide whether to follow through on your site.

4. Links to other useful resources, quotes or facts

Example :. “.. You were talking about copyright There is a detailed discussion of the difference between copyright and trademark [link]”

5. Controversial reactions.

Explain why you disagree with the prevailing opinion. If you’ve got the facts to back up your position, what you say can you collect considerable respect.

6. Trivia

Example: “… I see you’re from Colorado, I was there in the spring Loved it”
